Bergün One of the longest (5 km) and most spectacular runs in the Swiss Alps. Take a train ride with the Swiss Adventure Railway from the well-preserved village of Bergün, a sledging mecca, at the bottom of the run up to Preda, the last hamlet before entering the Engadine Valley. The Rhaetian Railway manages the 400 metres of altitude by winding itself up through helical tunnels, over bridges and viaducts. Available from around mid-December to approx. end-March.
