Factory Outlets
Located in canton Ticino, the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland and only 40 minutes' drive from Milan, Mendrisio is known for its FoxTown Factory Stores due to the all-year-round discount of 30% to 70% on surplus and garments from the previous season (manufacturers control their stores directly here).  The 130 stores consist of prestigious brands of men's, women's and children's clothings, sports articles, household goods and accessories. Popular among the Japanese and Italians.


Chocolate Factory
A visit to the chocolate factory will make you realise how sinful you have been.

Traditional Alpine Cheese Dairy (Organic)
See how cheese is made the traditional way in a little village of a high valley in the countryside at 1430 m above sea level. Sheep cheese, goat cheese, cow cheese come in mild, medium and strong flavours. Trucks from as far as Zürich come here to collect the cheese made with love by only a husband-and-wife team. Winner of 2006 prize for the most creative goat cheeses.

St. Gallen - The University City
The metropolis of Eastern Switzerland is justly proud of its prestigious past which you'll encounter with every step as you stroll through the attractive old town. Bellinzona - UNESCO World Heritage medieval castles
Capital of canton Ticino and located in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, Bellinzona has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to her city walls and her 3 famous castles, enclosing a picturesque vineyard. Visit the medieval castles. Experience the Saturday morning market and feel a different ambiance.


Zürich - The Banking Power House
Take a walk along Bahnhofstrasse - a shopping stretch, see the banking and financial district, visit an upmarket chocolate-cum-confectionery shop and the famous chocolate boutique-cum-cafe, see the stained glass windows of Chagall and Giacometti and then the largest clockface in Europe. Finally walk up one of the twin towers of the Grossmünster and have a bird's eye view of the city of Züric h.
